MTV kicked off its annual Video Music Awards last night with a sky-high performance by The Weeknd. The multi-platinum artist performed his award-winning hit Blinding Lights from Hudson Yards’ very own soaring outdoor observation deck, Edge! Proving that the song was worthy of the matchless stage, the artist later took home two awards, for “Video of the Year” and “Best R&B performance".
