A new tradition starts at Hudson Yards this holiday season —and it’s set to be oh-so merry. That’s because, along with extended shopping hours, there’s a host of happenings in the neighborhood that will give one and all good reason to cheer.
Friday's Shine On Celebration
Come for the exclusives, stay for the live performances. The day after Thanksgiving, doors open at 8 am for shopping, and starting at 11:30 you’ll be entertained by the Brooklyn Ballet, Backtrack acapella group, New York City Gospel Choir and harpist Emily Hopkins, among others.
Daily Moment of Delight
When the clock strikes 5pm on the day after Thanksgiving, Light artist Christopher Schardt’s sculptural installation Lyra transforms Hudson Yards into an astonishing spectacle.
Tidings of Joy
Every Tuesday in December enjoy music and dance performances. Keep shining on Saturdays with cookie decorating with William Greenberg Desserts and personalized gift tags.
Feel extra-good about getting in your steps
Every time you walk Vessel choose from one of several categories of nonprofits—green, local, current, or diverse—and Hudson Yards will donate on your behalf. Select your cause as you exit.
More Reasons To Shine On
The Wells Fargo Lodge, just outside Vessel, offers hot chocolate tastings, holiday selfie cookies, charging stations and a 360-degree photo booth. Inside The Shops & Restaurants, Wells Fargo Star Stations take care of your gift wrapping, offer holiday card photo opportunities and free gifts. Plus, SAP is hosting a “Match the Gift” game in which you can win prizes from Hudson Yards shops.
The Best Shopping and Dining
You’ll find exclusive offerings from Neiman Marcus, Forty Five Ten, Micro Kickboard, Rhone, Lovepop and more—all in honor of Hudson Yards’ inaugural holiday season. Kids will love Neiman’s beloved “Breakfast with Santa” tradition, happening for the first time in New York City at The Zodiac Room on December 7th and 14th. Adults will enjoy special holiday menus and cocktails from the restaurants. End the holidays Spanish style, with a Three Kings Day celebration on January 6th at Mercado Little Spain’s Spanish Diner.
