NYC Restaurant Week To Go from Hudson Yards
Enjoy prix-fixe options from Queensyard and Mercado Little Spain
The much-loved dining tradition known as NYC Restaurant Week is being happily reimagined for the pandemic across the city and at Hudson Yards, where to-go and delivery options are stepping in for the usual indoor experience. So pick a day—or two or three—between January 25 and February 7, and take a break from your mealtime prep to order from two of the neighborhood’s favorite spots. Each of them are offering prix-fixe entrées, with at least one side, for $20.21. All you need to do is decide what to get first:
What’s for dinner is a multiple-choice question: fricando de ternera, a Catalan stew of beef, mushrooms and white rice; albondigas con tomate y arroz, an Ibérico pork meatball in tomato sauce over rice; canelones gratinados con foie, a chicken, pork and duck foie gras wrapped in pasta under béchamel sauce and cheese; or guisado con arroz pollo, a chicken stew with caramelized onions and sherry served over rice. What comes next, though, is a no brainer: Spanish flan.
The British take on our Restaurant Week is a classic: fish & chips with minted peas. You can get it for lunch or dinner. Either way, complement it with a gin & tonic or a negroni to make it a royal feast.
