Beginning April 22—suitably, Earth Day—and continuing through the end of September, you’ll find a bounty of tasty goods being sold by local purveyors, producers, farmers, fishermen and foragers at The Farmer’s Market at Hudson Yards. In the Public Square & Gardens, you’ll be able to stock up on almost anything seasonal and edible you might need, every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Strolling through the aisles, you’ll see artisan cookies and other treats, fruits and vegetables from suppliers of the city’s Michelin-starred restaurants, fresh pastas and sauces, dry-aged meats, stunning flower arrangements and more. Merchants include Agri Produce, Alecia Bakery, Free Farm Organics, and Jon’s Gourmet Mushrooms. In celebration of Earth Day, a few retailers from The Shops—Athleta, Rhone, Kiehl's, and The Body Shop—will join The Farmer’s Market on the plaza to highlight their sustainable wares.
The market is the latest iteration of Backyard at Hudson Yards presented by Wells Fargo, which opened last fall to provide some much-needed outdoor entertainment: movie and sports screenings, a cafe and SoulCycle classes. The spring will bring a host of new and exciting activities, including more exercise classes, outdoor dining and other exciting additions.
