Your weekend planning just got a lot easier. Hudson Yards’ Octoberfest presented by Samuel Adams is coming to the Public Square & Gardens and Backyard Café on Saturday and Sunday. The festivities run from noon to 8pm each day.
The beer company’s camper will be serving seasonal drinks for the occasion, including Sam Adams Octoberfest, Angry Orchard Cider, and more. There will be festive giveaways too—hats, koozies and suspenders—as well as socially distanced games like cornhole and lawn pong. Don't forget to bring your dancing shoes, on Saturday, there will be live music from a traditional Oompahs band from 3pm -7pm. If all the fun makes you hungry, you can find soft pretzels at Backyard Café and specialty Octoberfest sausage pizza served up by Neapolitan Express.
In between, you can catch an afternoon movie on Backyard’s Big Screen, The Iron Giant on Saturday and King Kong on Sunday, both at 1pm. Reserve your spot here.
