Lunar New Year Festivities

Enjoy 30 minute traditional lion dance and ribbon twirling performances by the New York Chinese Cultural Center on Level 1 of The Shops at 1PM, 3PM, and 5PM on January 27th, February 3rd and February 10th.  All shows are free and open to the public.  See the full schedule here.

Limited Collections for the Year of the Dragon

Visit The Shops for limited edition capsule collections in celebration of the Year of the Dragon.   Piaget will feature one-of-a-kind watches with intricate red coloring, scale detail and more. 

Also look for special items in red, a color which represents happiness, beauty, and good fortune in Chinese culture.  Notable highlights include Coach's offering of accessories and clutches in vivid red color tones and TUMI's red stainless-steel water bottle with a top handle lid and wide-mouth rim for easy, on-the-go drinking.

The Year of the Dragon is known for celebrating good health in the coming year.  The Restaurants at Hudson Yards offer a variety of healthy options all year.

Head to Greywind for a locally sourced, seasonal driven, vegetable focused fare from award-winning Chef Dan Kluger.

Or enjoy a number of healthy picks while enjoying breathtaking views at Peak, including the Chicory salad and Italian Eggplant - handpicked by Chef Rose Noël

Celebrate at Bronx Brewery

Start the Year of the Dragon with Bronx Brewery's limited menu item Duck Char Siu! Made of duck confit with char siu sauce, pickled fresnos, scallions, shaved radishes, cucumbers, and monterey jack cheese - available as nachos, burritos, or rice bowls, it's the perfect shared meal to celebrate! Available only from January 16 through February 12.
