The Year of the Rabbit begins on January 22nd, but anyone who can’t wait can get a headstart on their celebration at Hudson Yards, on January 17th.
There is certainly much to celebrate: The Rabbit is a symbol of longevity, peace, and prosperity, and 2023 is predicted to be a year of hope. This is specifically the year of the Water Rabbit, a combination of zodiac and element that last occurred in 1963.
The festivities include:
Traditional performances: Catch the New York Chinese Cultural Center’s lion dance and ribbon-twirling performances every Saturday at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.
Ladurée
Tory Burch
Limited-edition capsule collections: You’ll find Year of the Rabbit quilted sweaters, purses, shoes and more from Tory Burch; a limited-edition red gift box filled with eight special-for-the-occasion macarons at Ladurée; good fortune charms at Pandora; exclusive Chinese New Year frames at Ray-Ban; and Bronx Brewery's holiday offering duck char siu.
A complimentary gift: Take home some bamboo chopsticks when you spend $188 or more inside The Shops. Simply redeem your same-day receipts at the Concierge Desk on Level 1.
