50 Hudson Yards Tops Out

50 Hudson Yards has officially topped out! The final beam of New York City’s fourth largest office tower, and the neighborhood’s largest commercial office building by square footage, was hoisted into place on Friday. Designed by Foster + Partners, the building is expected to open on schedule in 2022.

The LEED Gold-designed, 1011 feet tall, 2.9M gross square foot building is already 75% leased. Tenants will include BlackRock’s global headquarters and Facebook’s largest office outside of California. Hudson Yards wishes to recognize the tireless efforts of more than a thousand tradespeople who have built this building over the past four years, and have persevered with rigorous safety protocols throughout the pandemic.
