New York City – Hudson Yards announced its 2023 Holiday series today, kicking off on November 13th with its 4th annual stunning light display, “Shine Bright at Hudson Yards Presented by Wells Fargo.” Over two million twinkling lights will set the stage for exciting, holiday activities including ice skating at New York’s highest skating rink at Edge at Hudson Yards, FREE photo opportunities with Santa, late-night entertainment at Santa’s Secret speakeasy (21+), holiday shopping for every budget, festive dining, and much more.

Whether you’re spending a full day in the neighborhood or pairing your visit with a stop at the nearby Theater District or sporting event, Hudson Yards promises holiday memories.”
Featuring over 2 million twinkling lights, Shine Bright at Hudson Yards Presented by Wells Fargo, will adorn the neighborhood with 115 miles of string lights, 725 evergreen trees, and 16-foot-tall, illuminated set pieces in the shape of hot air balloons arranged through the Public Square and Gardens. “Shine Bright at Hudson Yards Presented by Wells Fargo” will be on display from November 13th to January 7th.
To celebrate the launch of Shine Bright on Monday, November 13th, Hudson Yards will offer a FREE performance by the National Children’s Chorus at 6:00 PM on Level 1 in The Great Room of The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards.
Seasonal Holiday Events
Sky Skate (Edge at Hudson Yards) – Visitors to Edge at Hudson Yards will have the opportunity to glide high above the city streets as Sky Skate Presented by Dunkin’, New York City’s highest skating rink, reopens for the winter season. Beginning November 15th, guests will be able skate on a 1,024 square foot Glice® rink, a zero-energy ecological and synthetic ice rink positioned in the indoor portion of Edge’s sky deck, all while taking in the sights of New York for a truly epic winter adventure. Here Comes Santa Claus (The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards) – Santa is flying his sleigh to Hudson Yards to meet with children, friends and families from across the world on November 24th, December 4th to 8th, December 11th to 15th, and December 18th to 22nd. A winter wonderland featuring Santa and his sleigh will be located on Level 3 by Sunglass Hut and M.A.C. Meeting Santa is FREE and open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. Santa’s Secret (Public Square & Gardens) – Santa’s Secret returns to Hudson Yards on November 17th with a new home at the Public Square & Gardens. Follow an immersive path through eight living art installations and stumble into a vintage speakeasy, complete with Christmas cocktails, delicious food, and a live band. The evening concludes with a jaw-dropping variety show featuring ballet, burlesque, and unique acts in which all of Santa’s wildest secrets are revealed! A festive cocktail bar and treats, along with not-to-miss photo opportunity backdrops makes this an unforgettable evening. Shows are every Wednesday to Saturday at 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM and Sundays at 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM until December 31st. For guests 18 and over. Menorah Lighting (Public Square & Gardens) – Kicking off the Hanukkah Holiday, there will be a Menorah lighting celebration with Shabbat of Midtown on December 7th at the Public Square & Gardens.
Festive Shopping
Sip & Shop (21+) presented by G.H. Mumm, Genesis, and Josh Cellars (The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards) – On December 6th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards are hosting a one-night-only Sip & Shop event, free and open to the public. The event will feature a live DJ, 10+ Champagne bars, lite bites curated by several Hudson Yards restaurants, and exclusive shopping offers.
Wells Fargo Small Business Market (The Shops at Hudson Yards on Level 3) –
Beginning on Black Friday, November 24th, at 10:00 AM and running through January 1st, Wells Fargo is spotlighting eight Tri-state-area small businesses through the Wells Fargo Small Business Market. The festive shopping experience will provide these local merchants access to a wide range of shoppers living or working in NYC, along with the millions of visitors and tourists who make their way into the city to celebrate the holiday season.
